Okay this is further down almost at the SS Yongala’s bow. I found the Six Spot Rockcod (Cephalopholis sexmaculata) together with the unidentified school in front and the trevally coming out of the blue – it’s a very busy dive site as I already mentioned numerous times and reminds me of a big herd all going the same direction (probably away from annoying photographers). This was shot from the hip, got luck with the perspective.
Camera settings: Nikon D300, Tokina 10-17mm, f/8 for 1/250s in manual mode. I used standard iTTL flash for the entire dive day at the SS Yongala, compensated with +2EV which I normally have to to achieve evenly lit wide-angle scenes with 1-2m subject distance- this is probably a little more. Post processed for levels, saturation and definition in Aperture and Color Efex Pro and added a graduated neutral density filter from the bottom left plus extra burn brush to tone down the image.
