Nudibranch “Chromodoris magnifica”

A Nudibranch, (Chromodoris magnifica) which is very abundant throughout the tropics and you’re likely to encounter in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and eastern Australia. It’s only about 2-3cm long and an easy macro subject as they don’t tend to move very fast. These Nudibranchs live, and feed on sponges.
I was lucky to have the 105mm macro lens on which is ideal for small critters like these. Camera is set to f/25 for broad depth of field and dark negative space behind the subject, shutter time 1/60s, ISO 200. When editing this shot In Aperture, I used the burn tool to hide some unwanted background, cropped the frame, but left the colors unmodified.
