Today I’ve got another stock photo I shot back in February at Manly Rocks. At Sydney’s blue water sites, you can always rely on Blue Groper (Achoerodus viridis) mobbing you if nothing else shows up on the dive. No need to bring any food they are curious enough and will follow you the entire time if hungry.
I like the way the green background turned out here, which I blurred with a vignette filter in Color Efex Pro for Aperture. Other than that, this photo is adjusted for levels, saturation and contrast, then cleaned from backscatter with a clonestamp. Other camera settings: Nikon D300, Tokina 10-17mm fisheye lens, ISO 200 f/9 for 1/125s in manual mode.
